• UGLIES

    Shalewa.
    Abeni.
    Adunni.
    Atinuke.

    Sisters by choice.
    Women by nature.

Shalewa is queen. Her black lips are the same as her intentions, and they beautify her alone.

Abeni hears all, sees all and tells all. Her currency is her words and her trade is vicious.

Adunni is spineless. She writhes along the paths, cold and unfeeling. It's no skin off her back.

Atinuke, the soft spoken one. She has no taste for power and defies ruthlessness. She is unlike anyone and yet she is like everyone.

    Power.
One wields power, another is power, another doesn't care, and the last aquesices.
Women have a curious relationship with power, one that confuses them as well as their natural opposites.

Truth is hidden in this circle.
Half truths and delicate lies reign supreme.
Desires are crushed beneath waves of greed and want, which is basically covetousness.
What one wants and one says are different, much like your lips shouting no and your body saying yes.
If one cannot have, no one else can have.

    Shalewa, Abeni, Adunni and Atinuke.
    Friends, yet enemies.
    Sisters, by choice.
    Women by nature.

    P.S.
If this makes absolutely no sense at all, you're forgiven. Today was a day.
And I have a mini announcement.
    You'll hear it on Sunday.
    Toodles!
